Fall is a great time to partake in your favorite outdoor activities such as hiking & mountain biking. The temperatures are cooler and the bugs are gone. The trees don their new colors and show off for all to see.Take a Drive up Brockway Mountain and along Lake Superior's shores. US-41 or "The Tunnel Road" is naturally breathtaking.

The many scenic vistas along Brockway Mountain Drive allow for spectacular views. In the fall of the year the scenery is breathtaking. The colors in the Keweenaw rival any in the Country.
The 3 pictures above are taken along a few of the 'seasonal' roads in the area. Most of these dirt roads are navigable by car, although some require a 4 wheel drive vehicle with high clearance. (Maps and good directions are advisable).
Hint: Each year is different. The end of September and the beginning of October are the best times to plan to see colors in the Keweenaw. Make your reservations early.
